    A dark and dense aromas of blue and blackberries dominate the nose, complimented by a lifted and fragrant aromatic profile. Perfumed violets amongst black cardamom, olive, anise, cloves and bay leaf provide subtle and classical layers.

It is unlike most other Margaret River cabernets, a red brother to the Art Series Chardonnay, even if not quite as magical as that wine. The '13 regional vintage was highly rated at the time, a rating justified today."

    "I very much appreciate a wine that feels 'dense' but isn't 'heavy'. Here's a fine example. Black fruit, redcurrant, hazelnut and menthol, coffee bean and sweet fragrant herbs and leaf. It's medium bodied, but dense and well packed, with fine-grained tannin, hazelnut and praline, cool acidity, and a very much offers a 'classic Cabernet' experience. It's long too, and packed with tannin and interest. Excellent. Superb release from Leeuwin."
