Leeuwin Estate’s unique Safari Club, will be the venue for GOURMET ESCAPE FEAST IN THE FORREST. Celebrating wood, flame, smoke and cooking the way we’ve done for centuries, the Feast in the Forest highlights the uniqueness of the Margaret River region’s natural environment by taking guests into the heart of a magnificent forest to feast on meat cooked over an open fire by tong-masters including Anthony Puharich (Victor Churchill), Tony Howell (Margaret River Hospitality Group), Lennox Hastie (Firedoor, Sydney), Darren Robertson (Three Blue Ducks, Sydney and Byron Bay) and Ross Lusted (The Bridge Room, Sydney).
The canopy of trees, long communal tables and ambient music provide a uniquely Australian backdrop for atmospheric lunchtime feasts, while at night lanterns and candles add to the forest magic. And while meat is a feature of the menus, entrees and vegetable side dishes featuring the stunning local produce make this a feast for everyone, accompanied by superb Leeuwin Estate wines.
