Pale straw-green; is an exceptionally fine and elegant rendition of sauvignon blanc, falling largely on the nettle, herb and snow pea side, but also capturing a delicate waft of passionfruit and stone fruit; perfectly balanced acidity. Screwcap 12.5% alc Rating 96 To 2012
Pale, bright straw-green; fragrant grapefruit, melon and white peach aromas, the oak subtle and integrated, are followed by an exceptionally intense and long palate, the alcohol lost in the sea of flavour. Screwcap. 14.5% alc. Rating 96 To 2022
A 62/38 blend, the varieties seamlessly joined in a never-ending circle of herb, grass, citrus and lemongrass, the finish alluringly fresh and crisp. Screwcap. 12.5% alc. Rating 94 To 2012 *Special Value*
A second label equal to most producers' best, although the price (inevitably) reflects the quality; fragrant white peach and grapefruit aromas and flavours drive the wine, having soaked up the barrel ferment oak in the process; long, complete and perfectly balanced. Screwcap. 14.5% alc. Rating 94 To 2018
Light, bright crimson; the fragrant bouquet of spicy red fruits is closely tracked on the light-to medium-bodied palate that is all about finesse, line and length, the red cherry fruit with spicy nuances, the oak reserved. Screwcap. 13.5% alc. Rating 94 To 2016
A super-elegant and refined wine, with few of the flourishes that many of its regional counterparts exhibit; the fragrant, dark fruits of the bouquet are precisely replayed on the palate with its somber flavours and tannins. Screwcap. 13.5% alc. Rating 94 To 2030
A touch more purple in colour to the Art Series; interesting wine, with more black fruit characters and more depth, but not so much finesse perhaps; should develop well and is a bargain in the Leeuwin context. Screwcap. 13.5% alc. Rating 92 To 2018 *Special Value*
Bright crimson-purple; lively and zesty red fruits run through the bouquet and medium-bodied palate; attractive touches of spice and to the appeal and length of the palate. Screwcap. 13% alc. Rating 92 To 2017 *Special Value*
Rating 92 To 2015
Rating 91 To 2020
