Description
The nose bursts with plum stone, blueberry, raspberry jube and cacao before aromas of garam and cumin appear, pointing to a subtle savouriness. The palate opens with blood plum, mulberry and boysenberry richness, alongside cocoa and vanilla bean, before supple, sandy tannins take hold. The wine’s modest, integrated acidity sees the wine suitably trim, and the overarching sense is of a wine that is plush, plummy, pulpy and delicious, perfect for medium term cellaring and particularly food friendly.
