Please select the vintage of Siblings Shiraz

2016 Siblings Shiraz

The Siblings label celebrates the family lineage of Leeuwin, with three generations of the founding family now leaving their footprints on the Estate.

Variety: 96% Shiraz, 3% Malbec, 1% Viogner
Alcohol: 13.5%
Cellaring Potental: 8-12 years

Concentrated red cherries, mulberries and blueberries dominate the nose. There is cocoa, coffee bean, oak char black cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon and lifted violets that are well positioned in the background. The palate is rich and layered with dark cherries, boysenberries and blueberries. Structural mocha-like tannins scroll to the back palate with subtle hints of anise, which is balanced with an elegant and bouyant acid line.

"Bright and fruity shiraz that delivers well above its weight. Medium-bodied, with spicy, sweet red fruits showing a subtle hint of oak and fine tannings. Perfect current drinking wine."
