Lifted and bright with great clarity, the nose expresses cut limes and lemons. Subtle notes of kaffir, lemongrass, jasmine and fresh sesame seed lie in the background. Defined by a finely structured palate with delicate texture and sherbet-like acidity, the palate shows lemon pith, lime and cardamom pod.

"Youthful apple and peach fruit come forward on a tightly structured palate characterised by austere acidity but in perfect balance. This has finesse and a taut mineral dryness at the end."

"This is a long time favorite for Australian riesling with stone, flint and spice character. Lemon, lime. Medium to full body, fruity and crisp. A beauty as always. Fresh. Super peppermint at finish. Screw cap. Drink now or hold."

"Another very good riesling from one of the few riesling producers in Margaret River. Clean and refined, with a lemony essence and limey character. Lively fresh acidity lifts the finish. One of the better Leeuwin rieslings."

"Every year this wine sells out long before any of the other wines in Leeuwin Estate's portfolio, clearly it's not broken, and there is no suggestion it needs fixing. It has lemon/lime citrus fruit, and the acidity doesn't leave any mark. On the other side, its flavour is given by the fruit, residual sugar doesn't play any part."
