A fine creamy bead greets the full palate. Again there are strawberries and some green apple flavours with some toasty hints starting to appear. The clean dry palate with a crisp finish makes this wine very appealing.
"Light straw-green; a crisp and fresh bouquet has citrus, lemon and a subliminal hint of strawberry; the crisp and crunchy palate has offsetting bready/yeasty flavours and a crisp, dry finish. A 60/40 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Great Southern given 22 months on lees. Rating 91 Drink 2003 date Tasted Feb 02"James Halliday, www.winecompanion.com.au
