The colour is medium ruby with hints of purple at the edge.
There is typical lifted Leeuwin Pinot Noir characters on the nose of this wine. Complex aromas of cherry and apricot fruits with slight tones of the kernels showing together with hints of oak, contribute to the full complexity of the fruit.
The palate is full fruited with delicacy. There is a slight hint of smoke with the fruit lengthening to a gentle aftertaste of ripe cherries. This wine has quite a mouth filling velvety structure, very soft and round, giving it a rather unique position in our range.
Excellent with lamb and venison.
